One of my most precious online Beatles bookmark is the transcript of the 2001 online chat with George and Dhani.
It was George's first time chatting on the Internet ("I never surf, I don't know the password") and it's absolutely lovely to read.
During the chat he answers questions, and quite sadly mentions an album he was planning to release in November that year (which turned out to be Brainwashed). Little did anybody know that he wouldn't live past those 9 months.
George's cynicism was so straight-forward yet not always fully understood. I love reading this transcript. It reminds me the reasons he's my favorite one ;)
Some more funny quotes:
- "george_harrison_live: It's nice to know that teenagers find All Things Must Pass *cool*"
- "george_harrison_live: What's Eminem?"
- "george_harrison_live: It's one of those little things that goes up your butt so that people can't see your pantylines."
